Torremolinos Pride 2024: events, parade & hotels

Torremolinos Pride is a vibrant celebration that has rapidly grown since its inception in 2015. Despite Spain's early adoption of gay marriage in 2005, Torremolinos took some time to establish its own Pride event. It has since blossomed into a significant festival, marking its place as a notable event in the annual LGBTQ+ calendar and attracting over 30,000 participants each year.

The vibrant beachside celebration is back in 2024, with Pride celebrations all over Torremolinos from May 26th to June 2nd.

Event Highlights

• Pride Flag Raising: The festivities officially begin on June 1st at 12 pm at Plaza de la Nogalera with the raising of the Pride flag.

• Torremolinos Pride Parade: The highlight is on June 1st, starting at 6 pm from the town hall and concluding at the Picasso Cultural Centre. The parade features vibrant floats and enthusiastic participants celebrating in the streets.

• Post Parade Party: Following the parade, the celebration continues with performances from artists like Chanel and Varry Brava.

Daily Activities

• Beach and Pool Parties: The Eden Beach Club and various pool venues host daily parties, characterized by energetic DJs and live performances, making them the essential daytime gathering spots.

• Circuit Parties: Each evening, different bars and clubs host festive gatherings, maintaining the celebratory mood throughout the week.

• Drag Acts and Live Performances: A diverse lineup of performances by renowned drag queens and artists from Spain and beyond entertain crowds throughout the week.

Closing Events

The grand finale is a beach party on June 2nd at Bajondillo Beach next to Bar Eden, where attendees can enjoy one last day of music and camaraderie in a beautiful seaside setting.
